Coverage: DIH’s Global Macro Economic Data is built via partnerships with several originators of economic and financial data around the world. The data is made up of approximately 8.6 million time series, covering more than 250 countries and regions across the globe. Most of the data can be traced back to when they became available.
The Global Macro Economic Data contains eight (8) major proprietary databases with timely updates, covering four major regions, members of EuroStat and advanced economies:
G7 & Europe - provides comprehensive economic and financial data for Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and EuroArea. The database has over 124,900 series from primary sources.
Forecast - 101 countries and regions based on the 23 categories of topics, using the TRAMO-SEATS model. The database has over 297,500 forecasted time series or an average of 2,940 series for each country and forecasted data is extended up to the future eight years.
EuroStat - provides comprehensive and comparable data for Europe as a whole under various definitions (e.g., Euro Area, EU15, EU25) as well as for 36 individual countries. The database has over 329,300 series.
Emerging Americas - 19 major emerging markets in Latin America, over 74,200 series from primary sources or an average of around 3,900 series for each country.
Emerging Asia - 23 major emerging markets in Asia, over 273,500 series from primary sources or an average of 11,900 series for each country.
Emerging CIS - 12 major emerging markets in the Commonwealth of Independent States, over 52,700 series from primary sources or an average of 4,390 series for each country.
Emerging EMEA - 39 major emerging markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa, over 207,300 series from primary sources or an average of 5,310 series for each country.
Emerging Africa - 54 major emerging markets in Africa, over 161,000 series from primary sources.

ABS Time Series Statistics Plus - approximately 41,400 series covering over 50 monthly and quarterly Australian Bureau of Statistics publications.
IMF International Financial Statistics - over 301,000 time series from the International Monetary Fund's International Financial Statistics database.
New Zealand Time Series - over 17,400 economic, financial, and social time series from over 40 Statistics New Zealand Hot off the Press publications, together with full time series from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Financial Statistics.
OECD Economic Outlook - all of the historical and forecast time series data from OECD Economic Outlook Database.
OECD Main Economic Indicators - approximately 37,000 series for employment, unemployment and vacancies, prices and wages, industrial production, retail sales, construction, deliveries, stocks and orders, money supply, interest rates, and more.
OECD Quarterly National Accounts - over 9,300 time series corresponding to those published in the printed publication, OECD Quarterly National Accounts as well as historical sets of accounts for countries that have adopted new accounts and have not extended the time series back as far as they previously had done.
RBA Statistics - over 6,900 financial and economic time series from the Reserve Bank of Australia Bulletin Statistical Tables, RBA Statistical Releases and RBA Historical Statistics.
World Bank World Tables - over 27,500 time series measuring macroeconomic performance (GDP, consumption, investment, international trade, balance of payments, central government budgets, prices, and money supply) for the more than 210 countries and territories.
Data is organized by country and then by broad category, except for the EuroStat database in which comparable data across countries is grouped under categories (from broad to narrow). The majority of the data is monthly, supplemented by daily, quarterly, semi-annual and annual data, all starting from when they first became available. The databases are updated daily whenever data is released by the primary source, through the internet, newswires and other media channels. Primary official sources include:
