Coverage: DIH offers corporate actions events and announcements for global equities from 160+ exchanges, including:
Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's)
We include 46 event types in our equity corporate actions, including:
Mandatory — events in which shareholders must participate (dividends, stock splits, mergers & acquisitions).
Voluntary — events in which shareholders may choose to (but don't have to) participate (rights issues, voting rights, takeovers).
Mixed — events that are a combination of Mandator and Voluntary (arrangements, conversion terms).
Issuer — events that occur at the issuer level (announcements, bankruptcies, annual general meeting).
All of our corporate actions data is directly sourced from exchanges, central banks, ministries of finance, lead managers, and paying / calculation / transfer agents, for a total of 400 global sources on a daily basis. Much of the data involves translating source documents each day from dozens of native languages to English. History: Varies by exchange, but as far back as Jan 2000.
Updates: Corporate actions files are updated 3 times a day (e.g. after the close in Asia/Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and the Americas). We provide a "master file" that includes all of the requested data as of that date. Then assuming you subscribe to updates going forward, we provide a "delta file" each day going forward with only the changes to the "master file". A full refresh of data is also available upon request.
Delivery: Bulk files are delivered as delimited text files via download. API also available.
