Our security reference data alerts you to new, deleted, and updated records so you can quickly identify and cross-reference securities. It also enables you to classify securities by the included Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS®) industry code.
The 40+ fields in our security reference data include:
Issuer / Company: CIC, CIK (Central Index Key), LEI (Legal Entity Identifier), issuer name, GICS industry code, country of incorporation, etc.
Security: ticker symbol, ISIN, SEDOL, FIGI, security description, status, primary exchange, currency, par value, issue price, paid up value, voting rights, shares outstanding, etc.
Exchange / Market: listing date, listing status, MIC, exchange name, country, local ticker, lot size, minimum trading quantity, market segment, etc.
History: In addition to current reference data, we also offer “point-in-time” data for global equities as far back as Jan-1-2005. So pick a date in the past, and see the reference data that was in effect for that specific equity on that day. See daily changes to such security master information as Ticker, Company Name, Identifiers, Exchange, Shares Outstanding, Listing Status, and more.
Updates: Data is updated daily, with new data available between 7pm and 9:30pm UTC/GMT. We provide a "master file" that includes all of the requested data as of that date. Then assuming you subscribe to updates going forward, we provide a "delta file" each day going forward with only the changes to the "master file". A full refresh of data is also available upon request.
Delivery: Bulk files are delivered as delimited text files via download. API also available.
